Júcar canyons
A spectacular descent along the bed of the river Júcar, through some of the most majestic natural canyons you can imagine.
Along the way you will make plenty of jumps from waterfalls and rock formations into crystal-clear pools.
Villalba de la Sierra · 5 minutes from the hostal
The ferrata runs along the Júcar cliffs beside the Ventano del Diablo viewpoint, within Villalba de la Sierra itself and at the gateway to the Serranía de Cuenca Natural Park.
Family route (K3): 500 horizontal metres across the canyon walls, with a 28-metre zip line that can be bypassed on a parallel line of rungs.
Sport route (K4): a climb to the top of the Ventano del Diablo viewpoint, with two Tibetan bridges of 15 to 20 metres for those already used to via ferratas.
Caves of the sierra
We explore the inside of natural caves with spectacular geological formations. In one of them you can even see a small underground lake.
La Toba reservoir
A paddle across the La Toba reservoir with a stop at an island halfway for a snack. Ideal for a relaxed family day.
In the summer months, nothing beats a refreshing swim in the reservoir.
